WHAT TO EXPECT
Let us know you're coming!
What are your services like?
We currently have 1 combined service every Sunday at 10:30am. Each service is led by Pastor Stephanie, our lead pastor, and features elements from both our Traditional and Modern services. In service, you will hear scripture read, prayer, and a message. This combined service features both classical organ pieces and hymns with our Good Shepherd choir, as well as live Christian music from the SonRise Praise Band who play popular contemporary Christian songs. We are a Bible-based church and our message will always have a connection to the Bible, along with life experiences, and music to correspond with each message. At some point in the service, there will be a time where we will talk about what the church is doing and how you can get involved, whether it is an opportunity to attend, volunteer, or pass on the information. Pastor Stephanie typically follows the lectionary for each week's scriptures which are used to create message series that runs over a course of four to eight consecutive Sundays.
If you are traveling or do not yet feel ready to attend in-person worship, our services are also live-streamed every Sunday at https://cleveland.online.church/.
Past services can be found on our youtube channel.
Where do I park?
We have three parking lots. One on either side of the building and one across Albertly Ave. from the Building on State Rd. There are entrances on both sides of the building, though the main entrance is off the Forestwood parking lot.
Do you have Children’s Ministry?
Yes! We offer Children’s Ministry from age one through fifth grade. Interactive classes are offered every Sunday, the second Sunday in September through the second last Sunday in May. To learn more about our Children's Ministry, click here.
Do you have childcare?
Childcare is available during worship for children from birth to preschool on the 1st floor off the hallway leading to the sanctuary.
Children are more than welcome to stay in service and Children's Ministry bags are available for children to play with during service.
Do I have to Give?
Each week, we do receive an offering. If you are a visitor, we just ask that you fill out the Connection Card provided in the bulletin and place that in the offering plate so that we can have the opportunity to contact you to get to know you better! There is no expectation for you to give. Members of our church give in many ways, some through monetary gifts, some through volunteering, or others with their talents. No one will judge you for not participating. we’re just glad you came!
What do I wear to a Service?
People wear whatever they feel comfortable in. Some people dress in business casual, some in jeans, and even some in active wear! Wear whatever YOU feel comfortable in and you will fit right in.
